1.8온스 롤온 데오도란트 3종 대상…전국 유통 ‘확인하세요’

미 식품의약국(FDA) 보고서에 따르면, 파워스틱 제취제 제조업체인 AP 도빌(A.P. Deauville)은 지난 10일 전국적으로 인기있는 롤온(roll-on) 제취제(deodorant) 총 6만 7,214건에 대한 자발적 리콜을 시작했다.
FDA는 지난주 파워 스틱(Power Stick ) 데오도란트 3종(Power Stick for Her Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant Powder Fresh, Power Stick Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant Spring Fresh, Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant)에 대한 리콜을 발표하는 보고서를 발표했다. 회수된 모든 제품은 1.8온스 패키지 크기다.
FDA 보고서에 따르면 리콜 사유는 ‘cGMP 편차‘(cGMP deviations)였다.
CGMP(Current Good Manufacturing Practice)는 FDA가 제품이 사용하기에 안전하며 광고하는 성분과 강도를 가지고 있음을 보장하기 위해 사용하는 규정이다.
이들 제품은 전국적으로 유통됐으며, 리콜은 현재 진행 중이다.
